I approached Gabby when I came back to resume my love and training for dance and needless to say her energy is the reason why I never stopped going. Gabby's compassion and ultimate love for dance gave me a reason to continue my belly dance training. I was nervous about starting bellydance early on but Gabby's grace definitely eased me up a lot and now I mainly look forward to having fun in all of her classes because she brings something new to each one whether it's her vibe or class material. I look forward to exploring my training with her. :))

have been taking classes with Gabriela for one year via the Bellyqueen online course. Gabriela is consciously loving dancing, and she also spreads the feeling to everyone in class. She also really cares for students during class -  she gives everyone clear feedback on the dance movements that really helps me a lot for my path of dancing. Here is the photo we met in person for the first-time.

Doreen

Gabriela Figueroa is a magical dancer and teacher.  She teaches with her heart, and the unbridled enthusiasm she brings to every class and every project is absolutely infectious.  She is a master in Baladi, Raqs Sharqi and Saidi (among other forms of dance).  She is one of those rare teachers that you watch and think,  ‘How does she do that’ and then ‘I want to dance just like that’.   As a teacher she is incredibly creative.  She balances being a perfectionist with infinite patience.  She is hands on in providing guidance to each dancer.  Her classes are an absolute joy to experience. You will become a much better dancer if you simply trust her process and let her lead you forward in your dance journey!

From beginner to advanced, everyone improves their technique, learns creative choreography and brings out their inner dancing diva in Gabriela’s classes.  She’s got a great teaching style and energy that will get you dancing even after a long day of work. And I appreciate her knowledge of the different styles and history of belly dance.  I can’t recommend her classes enough!!

I’ve been dancing with Gabriela for almost 3 years now – both in person and online as I absolutely adore her energy and dancing techniques and style. Her classes are always a lot of fun… the beginner classes are great for learning and refining techniques and her more advanced classes and workshops include some of my favorite choreography. What stood out to me the most about Gabi, and the reason why I continue to take classes with her to this day, is that she is quite versatile and goes from being sexy and sultry to fun and playful. Her advanced classes can be challenging, which I love as that allows me to further improve my dance She is also very knowledgeable about the history of Bellydance which makes her workshops not just fun, but also very informative
